The yard, August 23rd, 2006
This firepit was made by a one-time resident who had (has?) a business making imitation rocks from fiberglass and cement cast in molds. The wooden cetacean was his at one time. It was damaged, and he thought it best for it to remain by that fire pit when he left. Over time, it suffered the same fate eventually shared by all wooden things in the area.
